Tigers (Panthera tigris) are mammals of the Felidae family, one of four “big cats” that belong to the Panthera genus, and the largest of all cats, living or extinct. The magnificent tiger is a heavily muscled, powerful predator that stalks and ambushes large prey, camouflaged by its stripy coat. Merlin a very lovable black and white cat, sitting and watching.

Tiger, sitting majestically on the top of my truck. Tiger is a feral or stray that lives in out backyard. Two years ago he showed up with a badly infected front paw. It took me over a week to capture him and have the wonderful folks from Alley Cat Rescue come and take him to the vets for medical attention. While recovering he had to stay indoors, locked in a small bathroom to keep my other cats and one dog from bothering him. Since then, Tiger will follow me all over the yard, great me when I come home, and off course he loves to sit or lay upon my truck. He does come inside once in a while but he always goes back to the door and asks to be let out.

Tiger reclining

Tiger reclining on top of covered hay bale. Tiger appeared about three years ago in our yard. He would let us feed him, but not get close to him, until he injured his front paw. It took us four days to capture him, so he could be taken to the vet. After getting medical attention, all his shots and fixed, Tiger was returned to us. I had to keep him inside the house for several days until he healed. After his release he disappeared for a few days and then came back to the yard a change kitty. He now loves to be petted, and held for a short time, he follows me around in the yard and comes to greet  me when I come home.

Yue loves to sit on my shoulder, but sometimes it makes for eating a challenge. This is the only time she got on my shoulders while I was trying to eat.
